The Evaluator working with Ludus Dance

The Evaluator has won another new contract and is delighted to be working with Ludus Dance.

Ludus Dance provides a wide range of opportunities including a studio programme of dance classes in Lancaster with something for everyone. In addition, we deliver bespoke creative projects in communities and schools with our professional team. We provide new experiences for developing North West based dance artists and audiences.

The Ludus Dance inclusive approach is recognised and valued in the dance industry, amongst our partners, in the education sector, and in the local and wider communities where we work.

We prioritise hard to reach people and places, placing excellence, engagement and learning at the heart of our work. We champion work with and for young people and proactively contribute to the development of a thriving dance ecology across Lancashire and the North West by providing progression routes in dance, the arts and cultural activity. You can find out more about Ludus Dance here

The Evaluator is working with Ludus Dance on a specific project all around the centenary of women's suffrage. Mill Girls and Militants is a Heritage Lottery Funded project celebrating and exploring the lives of three prominent suffragettes across three Lancashire towns, culminating in a mass physical performance.

The Evaluator is designing experimental methods of capturing data which 'fit' the project; for example, why not ask people to vote on their answers to some core questions, inspired by these two images...

As always The Evaluator likes to create new materials, which are authentic, and fit the project. As Creative Evaluation Experts... it's what we do. And, if you want to know more, please feel free to contact us on 07837 896 698 or at kirsty@theevaluator.co.uk
